Corona Car Show Marks 10 Years Of Giving Back

Peace and Plenty — George Inness, 1865

What Happened

Boudreau Pipeline Corporation hosts its 10th Annual Charity Car & Bike Show on October 3 at its Corona headquarters. All proceeds go to Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy and the California Homebuilding Foundation's BITA program. Expect food trucks, live music, and an appearance from the Anaheim Ducks' Wild Wing.

Why It Matters

A decade in, this isn't really a car show anymore — it's a fundraising machine that happens to have engines in it. The money funds actual tools: OSHA training, scholarships, work boots for teenagers trying to get onto a jobsite. Charity events built around a hobby tend to survive longer than ones built around a gala, mostly because people show up for the cars and stay for the cause.

What's Next

Registration is open now through bpcgives.com, with early pricing before day-of rates kick in.

Takeaway

Ten years running, and the trophy still isn't the point of this car show.
